Laura’s key responsibilities include assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Maine office while also supporting Marc and Joe Poirier with their clients and managing their calendars. Her focus also includes managing the administrative details associated with Employee Administration, Group Medical, and Life Insurance.

Prior to Financial Compass Group, LLC, Laura worked with a large insurance company. In her role there, Laura processed Commercial Insurance claims for General, Auto, and Property claims from intake to coverage before sending them to the adjuster.

In her free time, she volunteers as a foster for feral cats, kittens, and puppies with 2 non-profit organizations. She and her husband have a 17-year son and 5 rescue fur babies which includes 3 dogs and 2 cats.
